Flowing, breathing, whispering,
Swirling around me like a free spirit.
Some cherish the simple moments,
Others fear it.
Smooth, then rugged, the landscapes contrasts,
Green then black, life, or death.
Home to many, life thrives,
Can leave you in awe or cause a last breath.
Hissing, spitting, crackling,
Sending out her children to do her bidding.
Flames rise, concealing you in its death trap,
Wreaking havoc across the land, killing.
Calm, serene, dangerous, mean,
Tumultuous waves rise, swallowing everything.
Flat, still, sparkling like a diamond,
Can be a friend or a hazardous king.
