Nature's Vengeance

The empty streets of men who hide away,
All fear of what they do not understand.
That day that came; it could not have been planned,
For some - No, all - their work it did outweigh.
They stalked the stores, at ease, but just like prey,
Yet soon lives lost, it all got out of hand.
The parks, the squares, for humans but wastelands,
Their time has come when will be the Doomsday?
Alas amongst the fated world below,
The trees will rise and flourish all anew.
With joyous trills the birds will whirl about,
For deer, the roads will be their new meadow.
The ruin, only nature can undo,
When will it drive these careless creatures out?
