The Eyes Of The Koolewong

For thirty-million years
This ancient land I've roamed
From the redgum to the river beds
I thought it as my home

The others kept me safe
So how was I to know
For your selfish, basic pleasures
My species you'd forgo

See long before yourselves there was another man
A darker one, a smarter one
Who cared for this land

You and him are not the same
You cause so many issues
I had to loose my house
So you could have some tissues?
