Taking A Risk

Will it become daytime never or soon?
The scary darkness blanketed the earth,
I wait in bed until it becomes noon,
Is this really what the night time is worth?
People partying till’ the crack of dawn,
The police come and no more fun and games,
Gaze out my window, neighbours lawn is torn,
No punishment is exactly the same.
Street lights glisten in the darkness of night,
Their lights shine and attract me,
I see the beach, run towards the water,
People are happier and full of glee.
The darkness of night can be dangerous,
We take a small risk to be courageous!
