Daylight

She ran across the field as happy as the sun,
But remembering that night time will aventually come.
She sat down under the tree that had branches that dangled down,
she had tears in her eyes that made her frown.
As she listened to the sky she heard a voice,
an angel sang sweetly in rejoice.
The angel said to her "Why the sudden change my dear?"
And the girl replied to her "my smile hides my sadness, it helps hide my fear.
"Day will come and so will the sun to cheer up your face"
And the girl smiled happily again back in grace.
