He was drowning,
Grief rushed over him like waves,
Until his lungs burned and he felt he would die,
This was his life everyday,
The waves were always high,
This was his life everyday,
Nowhere to hide from the storm,
Nowhere to get away,
The grief consumed him until he met her,
Her smile brought Sunlight,
Her voice calmed the thunder and her touch calmed the waves,
She saved him from pain and suffering,
And his heart began to bloom, like flowers in spring,
He grew stronger and better,
He became one with the water,
Floating in his grief like starts in the night sky,
Calm and secure,
And so she helped him find peace within his grief.
