I know it is not the best of times, life has changed,
Covid-19 has impacted us all, in one way or another.
We have lost our freedom, but it could be worse,
some have lost so much more than freedom,
grieving for loved ones, who have been taken away from them.
Our medical heroes are courageously facing a war they can not see
they are putting their lives on the line for people like you and me.
To show our gratitude and to save lives we need to show our full support
stay home to stay safe and it will protect our community,
the burden is on us all, no one can do this alone, we need to unite.
A small sacrifice to save our heroes and families
……… and with the stranger you will never meet.
There is light at the end of the tunnel,
the light will shine brighter, the quicker we act
we must come together as one, prevent the spread, prevent fatalities,
band together, we need to be one society, one nation, we need to unite!
