Test me!

Hi I’m Andy. I suffer from short-term memory loss. I used to think I wasn’t smart but in grade 3 everything changed. Well, almost everything. (I think!) It all started one chilly morning in winter. The dreaded Aim test was drawing closer and closer. “Only three days until the Aim test,” I said to myself. It was Monday afternoon after school and there was nothing better to do on Mondays than watch TV and be lazy. After I watched TV I said to mum, “Mum I’m hungry.” And mum said, “And I’m your mum. You’d better go to bed.”
I thought hard over the next few days. The Aim test was the next Thursday. Anyway I thought hard and I came up with pretending to be sick. I mean, what’s the point? You only get a prize of $100 if you get a high score. Anyway I thought I’d better be in bed. On theThursday of the Aim test I stayed at home. On Friday I went back to school and my teacher said, “Because you were away you have to do the Aim test today.” After I did the Aim test, my teacher told me that I got the highest score in the school but I wouldn’t get a prize because I did the Aim test on the wrong day. I learnt a good lesson that day, but in grade 5 I forgot and did the same thing again.
