The Face

I once saw a face with green eyes and red hair.
It stood out from all the other faces in the busy buzzing supermarket.
The face also had pink ears, brown eyebrows and peach coloured skin.
Its expression was handsome and kind.
For a long time I stood there glued to the spot until my mother pushed me along.
I wish I could see that smiling face again.
