Springtime is where our journey started,
The blooming flowers echoing us.
Smiles and touches given away.
The start of something new, something enchanting.
Unsure, but ready for the plunge.
I always enjoyed the summertime.
The long days filled with laughs and wonder,
Risking everything for that one little high.
Stolen kisses and late-night rendezvous,
Willing to risk it all for a simple fantasy.
Autumn took a turn for the worst,
Happiness, gone with the wind.
Troubles left aside, the frost creeping in,
Rain falling through the cracks.
The home we built neglected - nothing but a carcass.
By winter I was alone, nothing to do but freeze to death.
