Another Normal Day

Wall of flames,
a cloud of smoke,
a huge hot inferno.
The station wakes.
Sirens blare into innocent ears.
A life saving sign,
a hot rod red truck turns up.
With halligans, hammers and a hose.
As we run away,
they run towards the flame.
Trapped, a man shouts and screams.
Finding it harder and harder to breathe.
They search as he struggles.
He is rescued from dirt and rubble.
Another person saved.
On another normal day.
