Thunder crashed across the sky, and lightning bolted in all directions. “Boom! Crash!” I could not bear a moment with my head above the covers.
The window was right next to me. I kept on thinking, “Would it fall out? What if it did? I would be zapped!”. Every time I thought about that, my body was shaking, and I had goose bumps.
“Boom! Crash!”. The black sky was absolutely starless with white and yellow constantly flashing right in front of my eyes.
I called my mum, desperate for a way to kill this fear of storms. She asked me, “What is wrong, my darling?” I blurted out all I could. My mum fought with my fear and won. And then, my feelings calmed. My phobia dissolved in my dream.
