As the morning rises, I hear the bugle play
A call for worry, stress and doubt
But we fight through rain, snow and drought
The call for another frightful day
With minimal sleep and rationed food
My energy levels where decreasing
I just thought when this would conclude
And diseases we releasing
But we don't give in
Nor do we shed a tear
Because where here to win
So our rights don't disappear
We continue to suffer
As our leaders continue to bet
And the conditions get tougher
So Lest We Forget
