A world full of conflict,
Tears in the soldiers’ eyes,
Hearts contained of despair,
Filled with groans, shouting, and cries.

Ruins and devastation,
The injured and wounded all around,
Holding on for dear life,
Yet many dead bodies to be found.

Their families’ hearts filled with worry,
The hope fading away,
The days grew gloomier,
Hoping their loved ones could stay.
