While four children’s trusting souls remained
To freely speak, laugh or play
Without a worry for that day
The children walked a few streets away, to buy some ice-cream on a hot day
Enjoying the laughs and talks along the way, and the company they brought each other on the special birthday
Yet, all it took was a dumb mistake, To take the lives of 4 innocent children
The world grew silent, except for cries, The whole community gathered to pray for their lives
Children who had such precious smiles, The memories we made were so worthwhile
As they lived out God's deeds each day, Bringing joy to everyone they met, And remembering their beautiful face
Through the tragic story on the 1st of Feb, i4Give day was launched in hopes for rest
The plan to make it a global occasion, Reuniting and solving issues that should’ve been mended
People all over Australia came together
To forgive others, and seek forgiveness
Legacies of the 4 children last, Healing people through spirit -
And inspiring them to turn to God
Australia now know, the tragic and saddening story of “The Four Angels”
