He said he liked the colours red and purple.
So she wore a ruby red dress,
her eyelids glistened purple.
Yet it was never enough for him.
So she let him use her as his canvas,
painting her red and purple.
She lay in a pool of red,
her silky skin stained purple.
He ran this time,
why did he run?
Was it not enough red and purple?
