Music creates images in my head
If good enough tears I shed
It gives me a range of emotion
Close your eyes everyone else is in slow motion
You listen to the beat
Tapping with your feet
Letting the music flow through
And gives you the feeling that it is ok to be you
It gives a sense of belonging
Once it stops you are longing
To have that feeling of no fear
Being anywhere but right here
In this instant
You want that feeling of the world being distant
So you put the music back on

And here you are again, where you belong
