Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time,
There was a man who couldn’t rhyme.
Who then lost his black feathery hat,
That was probably thieved by a bat.
So, when we crawled through the vent,
We made quite a hole-like dent.
But when I gave him a lemon-like lime,
He said, “Once upon a time.”
Once upon a recent time,
There was a girl who could finally rhyme.
Who then lost her bright, flowery shoe,
That was probably thieved by a few.
So, then we crawled on the ground,
For she needs to be drowned.
In joy, she offered me an orange-like lime,
But I said, “Once upon, a recent time.”
