Songs spin like tops in my head
Tunes pirouette through my mind
Music dissipates dread
Each sound becoming a new find
Formed by lyrics, sound and a tune,
Lifting your spirits up, like a balloon
Uplifting, connecting, becoming absorbed
Rhythm follows, after the sound long abated
Find the songs to pacify,
Letting the beat carry you up and away
Haunting bass, uplifting piano
The sounds twirl, leap and sway
Soothing contentness, lulling and spiritual
Idle and passive, full of lethargy
Passionate and zealous, burning eternal
Riling and powerful, exuding energy
