Happy Endings

A happy ending at the end of the day,
pulls the worry from our heads and whisks it away.
But do not let this fool you
The worry is still there
Of an ending less than happy
Tell me, how would you fair?
Everyone is addicted
It's like an obsession
For an ending that is joyful
To release all the tension
It can be what you wish for on a shooting star
The one that is bright yet so very far
Your dreams can come true
Yet let’s not be dishonest
Happy endings can be a wish
But keep in mind they aren’t a promise.
