Just Another Day

Out in the sun, Having some fun,
Knowing that my life has begun,
Feeling a free spirit that makes me want to spin,
While listening to the birds sweet hymn,
Feeling the fresh air on my skin,
Another beautiful day of spring.
Feeling grateful for the air that I breathe in,
Knowing that I feel loved,
Knowing that I feel kind,
I run around in circles without getting tired,
Playing with friends, feeling a smile.
Time to rest my eyes,
Waiting for another day to play,
But wow, wasnt today worthwhile.
