March Comes Like A Lion

In like a lion,
Out like a lamb.
That's what they say,
That's how it's planned.

But never have I seen
A spring like this,
Where sunshine and warmth
Are so very missed.

And finally they appear!
Yet it's still bitter cold.
Have you ever seen
The lion so bold?

Please little lamb!
Do not give up hope.
For I am not sure
How much longer we can cope.
