Koala In The Old Gumtree

There is a koala in that tree, he is as cute as can be.
Big furry ears and grey fuzzy hair.
His little white chest stands out from up there.
Wedged in tight, on a fork of the tree.
Gripping on tight, to that old gumtree.
Munching on some leaves, he looks quite pleased.
High in the tree, he looks down at me.
He gives a big yawn and has a big stretch.
I watch him climb up to the highest branch.
He closes his eyes and holds on tight.
It's time for me to go and say goodnight.
