Your sweet-sounding melody
So innocent
And rich
Weaves lyrics through the air
Each note in perfect pitch

Your careless crescendo
So impulsive
And driven
Up and up and up
Then bang, all is given

Your sleazy swagger
So laidback
And chill
Carrying out a melody
That has a story to spill
