Falling

As the light fades into blackness,
Your helpless body falls lower and lower

The water rushing past you,
Like your lifes memories

The pain in your ears becomes more intense,
As you fall deeper and deeper into this bottomless pit

Your brain is spinning out of control,
it suddenly 'switches off'

Like an old rag doll being tossed to and fro,
You fall deeper and lower then you have ever done before

Your body finally comes to rest on the ocean floor,
There it will stay for now and ever more.
