No one sees, I’m broken down
Shattered pieces, across the ground
I’m getting up, and falling down
I call your name, and I reach out

But still, I fall, and still, I break
I’m not sure how, much I can take
A tear rolls down and my heart aches
But they will know my smile is fake

I hold it in, can’t let them see
All the pain, that’s underneath
I need someone, maybe they need me
If we help each other, there’s no defeat

I long for someone, to hold my hand
To help me through it, to help me stand
There in the distance, I see your face
We’re meant to meet, there’s no mistake
