At the Cotton Bowl
The Sooners stole the show,
And Oklahoma fans cheered
As the Sooners shutout the sterrs.

At the SBC Red River Shootout
The Longhorns had no doubt
That they would finally win
Over this team from Norman.

But to their dismay
Texas had nothing go their way,
And to add to their misery
The Sooners enjoyed a fifth straight victory

For this is how it was
For the white, orange and Vince Young
Who could not beat the red,
White and OU who won.
