In the shining light of a crescent moon
Under the glistening stars of a forgotten age
On the sandy shores
I find myself in awe
Of the crashing waves
Sparkling in light
Like a diamond
Gleaming in night
With the gentle breeze
Flowing in my hair
A sweet chill passes through me
As I stand at the water edge
I shiver at cold waters embrace
Even though I do not dare swim
My heart longs for its embrace
