Oh Maggie how I miss you,
I can’t believe you’re gone.
Your laugh it left me breathless,
The pain is like a thorn.
Your gleaming smile and crazy laugh,
I miss them more each day.
I want you back here with me,
I have so much more to say.
Butterflies were your favourite,
And they make me think of you.
Each tear that hits my pillow,
Makes me question what to do.
If I’d known the last I saw you,
Would be our last goodbye.
I’d have hugged you that bit longer,
Before you chose to fly.
