2nd in the 'The Write Note 2021' competition

During day Sky is so simple,
A dress of pale blue,
A yellow decoration as bright as the sun,
And a few specks of white will do.
But at night Sky is picturesque,
With a bedazzling set of diamonds and pearls,
A gorgeous wash of dark blue and purple flows behind her,
When she travels across the two sides of the world.
Sometimes when she is really depressed,
Tears will ruin her pretty gown,
Then the blue turns slowly to grey,
And the water suddenly spills on down.
But Sky will soon feel better,
And the sunshine then forms a prepossessing rainbow.
But be warned, when she is angry,
Her sparks of wrath may never go!
