Oh, in my reminiscent dreams,
I see his torn apart heart
His past soul so beautiful
Fractured by the love he lost.
Eyes once holding peace of mind
He is broken like fine china shattered by gravity
And I am helpless in my hope to repair
His broken soul and long-lost heart.
He is a fractured light obscured by shadows
In the days that pass I lose my faith
I fear his soul may be lost as I speak
The ode to the broken man’s heart.
