On a boring Saturday my family knows the way
To brighten up the weekend and go for a play.
Grab the buckets and spades it’s so much fun
Its time to go to the beach for some fun in the sun!
Dad loads up the car with all of our stuff
It looks very heavy, that must be tough
Mum turns on the radio and plays cool songs
My sister yells “Wait Mia! Don’t forget your thongs!”
We arrive at the beach, it’s scorching today,
My brothers run to the water, they can’t wait to play!
Dad gets out the snags they’re ready to cook
All of the birds come over for a look!
After hours and ours of playing on end
We’re very tired, and ready for bed
And of course we don’t want to go
But we’ll do it all again tomorrow!
