A Garden Is My Favourite Thing

When the leaves touch my hands thinking to myself I feel rough surfaces,
The petals of the daisies, bluebells, sunflowers and roses feel gentle,
When birds sing and chirp I feel as if I want to join in as well,
When water trickles in the pond I feel relaxed, calm and gentle,
Dew on flowers, apples, grass is shiny and glittery which makes me happy,
Fish in the pond splashes water on oranges and tomatoes helping them grow,
Last rain made new bulbs grow while tomato sprouts shoot up so I dance happily,
Dirt and sand mixed together is a wonderful delight and so I clap and skip,
When pumpkins are ripe mother takes them inside and makes pumpkin soup,
Vines on walls make it look pretty for anyone who sees our garden,
When trees are in a row I love to skip around them with a wonderful delight,
When all these things happen my heart is filled with joy and that is my favourite thing
