What colour am I? said they,
a question asked during icebreakers everyday.
red, blush, yellow, green
and every colour in-between.
grey,
grey is the colour of shadows, the ones always behind.
greys boring by itself, but with others it can shine.
grey creates depth and meaning, but is very misleading.
if I say grey what will they see.
grey, dull, moody, dirty,
grey, sweet, humble and flirty.
perspective is different,
will they see the ignorant, or the magnificent.
red, blush, yellow, green
and every colour in-between.
what colour am I said they
grey, grey, grey
I swallowed my pride and said pink not grey.
