I woke on Sunday the morning with excitement knowing it’s Grand final day. I rushed into the kitchen to make breakfast. After that I put my footy clothes on and drove off to the M.C.G.
When I arrived I went straight to the rooms. In there was Gary Ablett, Nick Reiwoldt, James Hird, the coach, Kevin Sheedy and plenty more.
We were all pumped and ready to go. As we left the rooms the siren went, telling us to get ready. When we were ready and on the field the siren went and BANG great punch by Van Der Har.
After the 1st quarter the scores were legends (us)
4 goals, 2 points to 5 goals, 1 point.
“Thrilling match” screamed Eddie Maguire.
During the 2nd quarter someone got knocked out for scouts. At half time the scores were level, Legends 10 goals 7 points to Scouts 11 goals, 1 point.
The crowd all spat “this match will go down in history and it will never be forgotten.”
After 3 quarter time the scores were, Legends 17 goals, 8 points, close game.
In the 4th quarter 5 minutes to go the scores were Scouts by 5 points. 5 seconds to go the umpire payed a free kick to Legends in there 50!!! His payed it to Matthew Lloyd and he’s 37 meters out. BBBBBBEEEERRR ’’there’s the siren’’. Screamed Eddie!!! Matthew Lloyd going for goal and, and, and he got a goal. Legends win by 1 point!!!!!!!!!
“They win the Grand Final by 1 point this game Will go down in history” Screamed Dennis Commietie.
I was jumping up and down when bang I fell out of my bed and I woke up in disappointment. But wait it my grand final today!!!! Today’s Grand Final is at the M.C.G YEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the end of the day Legends (I) win by 6 goals 30 points Yes my dream did come true. I won the Grand Final! I couldn’t get over my dream for about a month!!!
I was real proud with the grand final results. For sure I’ll play football next year. Hopefully for the Legends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
