may you carry on forever
and thrive eternally
the more I look upon you
the more there is to see

like the birds in the morning
whistling a tune
like the wolves in the evening
howling at the moon

like the snakes in the sun
slithering along
like the wind in the willows
humming out a song

there are many splendored things in life
of these, you are but one
so, cherish all that you adore
and frolic in the sun
