Excellence Award in the 'Play On Words 2021' competition

Sun shines through the clouds, rolling in golden waves over my body as I start to relax.
Leaves ripple and sway gently in the breeze.
Marble tiles glisten and shine in the light, feeling cool under my palms.
Pale grey concrete posts are solid and rough, holding up chestnut-red wooden beams.
Shimmering cars flash past, their soft rumbles fading in and out.
Quiet whispering from the bushes winds through the air, soothing me.
The air fills up my chest, feeling cool, and fresh.
A small bright yellow flower on the corner of the footpath glows in the light, giving me hope.
