Her eyes held so much joy and hope, but beneath her heart was a downhill slope
Her smile as bright as a ray of sunlight, although deep down she knew it would never be alright
Her each and every step had a spring of delight, however she could only truly try with all her might
No one had ever seen her true self, as she hid it far, far beyond her stealth
Her pain was always kept to herself, it had never been seen by anyone else
Her days felt longer as each minute passed, living each second as if her last
She began to drown in her sorrow, as she thought what if this could all be over tomorrow
No one ever thought to ask if she was ok because she was so happy right?
Everyone wanted to look like her, sound like her, be her, except her
We all know know her
Although she is gone now, we can’t help but wonder why
She was so happy right?
Right?
