I say bye to my mum I’m now at the school,
I’m a year sixer and that’s pretty cool.
Good morning Mr Martin let’s start the day,
Time to work and stop the play.
“Let’s do some maths, here’s the test”,
This looks tricky but I'll do my best!
Ring-a-ding-ding, there’s the bell,
It’s lunch time and everyone’s swell.
Ring-a-ding-ding, dang, back to class,
Time to finish the test, hopefully I pass.
“Now it's time for some arts and crafts”,
Yes! Hopefully we’ll have some laughs.
Ring-a-ding-ding, time to head home,
Can't wait to play on my phone.
Goodbye school,
“Shotgun!” I’m heading home, cool.
