Advertising is a part of life
For us modern slaves
We think it’s a normal life
But it controls us, even the way we behave
Every home owns a TV
No matter big or small
It’s the centre of attention
For many it’s their call
First it was black and white
Now colour and widescreen
There used to be VHS
But now only DVD’s to be seen
What ever happened to the good old days?
Where there was no TV
If only we could go back
Drown my sorrows in a VB
