Dear My Love

Last summer I yearned for your love.
I had first thought that our relationship was a Midsummer fling,
but now I have realised that we had something more between us.
I thought to myself
"I never wanted to be in love",
but something had changed within me.
All I want now is to be the sun that caresses your body,
and the rain that drips on your skin.
I am awfully so envious of the rain and sun.
I want to be consumed by you, even if it makes me vulnerable.
You have become my drug to live,
and I have become incapable of loving anyone else.
Even if your unrequited love pains me, the heartache is somewhat comforting.
Perhaps in another life, we may meet again.
Even if our love was deemed for failure from the very beginning,
I still wish to see your glistening smile once more.
