From trenches, to beaches, To the sandy sea floor.
Where breathing in air,Is no more.

Creatures ranging, From plankton to whales.
Time ranging, before the colonists sailed.

Like the dawn of time, when the Megalodon swam.
And the Titanoboa, Roamed the land.

To the present, The present,
Where we are now.

Where when it comes to boats,
We know what, why, how.

So when I look out the window,Where the sea meets the sky.
I wonder:
What changed, and why?
