It may not seem like it
But it’s more than just sights, sounds and scents
It’s moments, memories, connections
It’s who we are
No words can explain, so wordless it shall remain
As we slowly drift away
It’s the memories and experiences
That keep objects and places alive
Moments, memories, connections and experiences
Are what keep us alive
What would we be without them?
Because when today turns into yesterday
And tomorrow turns into today
We will still have those memories
Shinning like gold inside us
