Never Lose Faith

I’m tired of kids calling me a loser or dumb,
Words isn’t the only thing that hurts,
Knocking myself into the deep corner every beat of the drum,
Bruises all over and dirt on my shirt.

The feeling of anger and revenge,
Standing back up with a smile on my face,
Nobody to help me, all alone on this ledge,
It feels like a losing race.

I grasp that hand which may be my only hope,
The little reassurance telling me to get up,
Then I tell myself; No more going down that slope,
Before all my emotions once more erupt.

Here I am standing a little while later,
I’m so thankful for those who helped,
Happy, surrounding by everyone and nothing could ever be greater,
I will forever be in your debt.
