Younger Than The Eye Can See

The boy felt and knew more than the eye could see
The wind was his muse and the sun his guide
He was young and free but maybe a bit too happy
Shielded he was and shielded he will stay
Maybe someone ought to tell him the sadness in the world
But just maybe no one cared enough to do so
Scared he will be with danger nigh
He was a victim, unknowing beyond despair
The boy grew up as years went on
Physically he grew larger, taller and became a man
Mentally the wind was his muse and still the sun his guide
A boy he will be forever in his soul and mind
Years will go by, and seasons will circulate
But forever will one stay the same on the inside
For that is who we are truly and utterly
True and one with ourselves until society tears us apart
