Sneaking around the house at night,
Mice need to be careful to avoid a fight.
Unleashing a very sharp, short meow,
The cat insists on a midnight prowl.
Basking around in the sun’s glow,
Afraid of the cucumber, an unlikely foe.
Purrs like a lawnmower, like a machine,
Patterns on its body and everywhere in between.
