All that glitters is not gold,
Not every piece of paper will fold.
Not everything is like it seems.
Some perfectly ordered hearts,
Are bursting at the seams.
We all have many sides of us.
The narrow and the wide,
We all have parts of us
That we prefer to hide.
Like the sad to our happy.
The drunk to our sober.
The quiet to our chatty.
The crazy to our sane.
You know, the scary part of our brain
That we don’t truly want to face.
Our perfectly balanced self that we’re trying to erase.
