A Beautiful Day

Leaves, slowly fluttering to the ground,
swirling in the wind, such a pleasant sound.
Rain, softly pattering on my rooftop,
steady rain on the ground they drop.
Dark, gloomy clouds lingering in the sky,
not a bird seen flying up high.
The sun comes out, a rainbow floats about.
Again, it is a beautiful day,
where birds sing and trees sway.
