Bright colours flash past my eyes,
Coming and going quickly,
Where could I go?
What shop could I start at?
I spot a small cafe,
The smell of hot chips fills my nose,
I consider going there,
Crowds have already gathered,
More and more people show up,
So many noises engulf my ears,
I can't even hear my own thoughts,
The traffic jumps out at me,
People wave as they drive past,
I go to wave back,
I’m late,
They're gone.
