This poem is dedicated to my great grandmother (farmer Nan) who passed away this year.
Dear Farmer Nan,
Every day i think of you,
From dusk till dawn.
Every day i miss you,
Where did you go?
Are you in heaven or come back as a spirit?
Are you the whisper in the trees or the waves in the ocean?
Your spirit is always here with me,
You are here.
Walking beside me,
You set a good example for your family and friends,
I’ll follow in your footsteps for my whole life.
Wherever you are, look down on me,
Guide me through the good and bad.
Give me a sign for where you are.
